Imagine a mountain expedition aiming to conquer the top. A group of people is tied with a safety rope, taking care of their own safety but also the safety of others. Expedition colleagues, even if some separation occurs, are comrades-in-arms and support.

Let us apply this image to the modern capitalist model, which treats as “successes” only the personal ones, neglecting those that are collective. In that case, any person tied with a rope would be tied to their living obstacles. If reaching the goal had to be individual, we would get an image in which each body pulls to its side to reach the goal first, making it impossible for others to reach that goal, as well for themselves.

Performative action is a representation of this situation, but also a social experiment of examining awareness of the system in which we live and reactions to its consequences.

The performance is performed in a non-scenic setting, where the audience can physically be close to the performer.
