As an artist, I think of dreams as one of the most important parts of human beings, which we tend to transfer onto the theater. Performances are my way of “talking” about hidden feelings, taboo topics, and wishes we keep for ourselves. I derive my inspiration from ordinary, everyday things. My motto is - Always create, stay present, make a connection, and live with what you have.

Although I tend to combine different fields of research, I put a special accent on “contact improvisation” and modern dance. As a multimedia artist, I use music, video, photographs, text, besides my own body to assimilate and express everything that I stand for. In my opinion, the body is both - subject and object - a medium that connects with the phenomenon and presents it. While performing, I do not see myself as the center of the performance. I am the transmitter of the message which should engage the audience. My goal is to move you, disturb you, make you laugh, make you feel sad and/or happy, and leave you with questions.

 

Currently, I practice Ashtanga yoga and create and work in Serbia and abroad.
